Oranje Nassau D1 plays first indoor match
On Saturday our D1 played its first indoor match against the pupils of DOC in Bussum. Although most of the children at DOC were a lot taller, that did not stop our D’s. Through very concentrated defense and strong teamwork (both when delivering the ball and in attack), the team managed to equalize after being 2-0 behind. In the penultimate minute, Oranje-Nassau scored the winning goal. A very equal and exciting match.

Camp reunion in the canteen
Yesterday was the camp reunion. About 30 children were present to eat together, play games and of course watch the long-awaited camp video. There was delicious stew in three flavors: hutspot, sauerkraut and kale. Of course there was also custard, just like at camp. Only on such a special evening there is of course no (dishwashing) chores. It was another very pleasant evening!

Youth camp at the farm
No less than 43 children were ‘on the farm’ in Oosterbeek for a week. We all had a great time and did a lot of fun things! Farmer’s golf, to a petting zoo, live Farmville, a fox hunt with cows and much more. Unfortunately, we now have to wait another year. Although… you can already look forward to the anniversary weekend in the spring and the camp reunion in a few months!

A great day at Oranje-Nassau
It was a pleasant and sunny day at the field of Oranje-Nassau yesterday. There were several competitions on the program and there was the Kangaroo Klup for the youngest. After this it was time for the fox hunt for the youth. In 8 groups there was a search for the 9 foxes that were hiding in the neighborhood near the field. Most children returned with a full savings card! The evening ended with the NEON party.

Shot tournament KVA
Just like closing last year, KVA is organizing the KVA shot tournament again this year. And just like last year, this is BOTH for KVA members and for members of Oranje Nassau! On Saturday 1 July, both the tournament for juniors and seniors and the tournament for all youth will take place. You can register here. Just a short explanation, because what is the shot tournament again? Pairs shoot against each other for x number of minutes at two baskets that are x number of meters apart.
